This is a screen shot of a page with working navigation, not a Photoshop mockup. The Ribbon navigation was patiently handcrafted over a great deal of time, starting with a photograph of some ribbon and taking it from there. The sphere with the sky shot was rendered in Bryce and layered in.
Unfortunately this particular site never went live and the Ribbon navigation remained unused until it was recyled into the Ardaea navigation (see Munus Gallery 2 for screenshot.)
